This bit features pelham cheeks and a soft, flexible rubber mullen mouth.

A pelham is a dual use bit. Used with doubled reins, pressure on the snaffle ring creates direct pressure action like a dee ring or eggbutt. Pressure on the curb rein creates leverage action in same way as a curb cheek.
