The flexible mouthpiece features a steel core and low port that has a direct impact on the tongue and lower jaws due to the fixed cheeks. The cheeks provide lateral contact to help horses that tend to fall out while steering or approaching an obstacle. Bit guards are included for protection. Stainless steel cheeks have a 55 mm center ring.
