Myler Eggbutt no Hooks French Link Snaffle MB 10

This bit features traditional Eggbutt cheeks with a Myler MB 10 french link mouth. This is a Myler level 1 bit. It is USEF, FEI, and USEA Dressage Legal 2019. Consult the rulebook for more information.

The MB 10 is a more comfortable Myler version of the traditional French link mouthpiece. It has a smaller link with a flatter contour, which allows the tongue more freedom in the mouth and minimizes interference with the palate. Although it lacks the benefits of a true Myler mouthpiece, it has a distinctive curve, so the bars of the bit wrap around the horses bar and lips, which makes the bit more comfortable.

The MB 10 disperses pressure over the tongue similarly to the MB 02 but does not offer the Independent Side Movement of a true Myler mouthpiece. It is popular with riders who are more comfortable with a traditional design. An eggbutt is a traditional cheek style which keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than the loose ring. The straight side of eggbutt will not pull through the mouth and does not pinch.
