Herm Sprenger Double Jointed Stainless Full Cheek Bit 16mm

Full cheek bits are recommended for horses with sensitive mouth corners, or for horses that tend to fall out to the side on corners or in front of jumps.

This thicker, double jointed mouthpiece lies steady in the horses mouth with gentle pressure on the corners. The side pieces prevent the bit from slipping laterally through the mouth. The additional of keepers (sold separately) would add a very small amount of poll pressure.

This fully stainless steel bit features 50mm full cheeks and a 16mm double jointed mouth.
