Not too hard and not too soft, the Picador Medium Bristle Dandy Brush is just right!

This dandy brush has medium stiff synthetic bristles. If you only have one dandy brush a medium is a good choice. Stiff enough to get at dried on dirt, but not so stiff as to irritate your horse.
